How do I create and add students to a class?
Rockalingua offers a few ways to create classes and add students. The best option depends on how your school manages student accounts.
If your school uses Google Classroom, Clever, or ClassLink, you may be able to sync your classes with Rockalingua. Syncing means Rockalingua imports your classes and student rosters for you.
If you do not use one of those platforms, you can create classes directly in Rockalingua.
Import from Google Classroom, Clever, or ClassLink
Section titled “Import from Google Classroom, Clever, or ClassLink”Choose this option if your school already uses one of these platforms and your classes are ready there.
Rockalingua can sync your class list and student roster automatically. This is usually the fastest option for schools and districts.
Create a class and let students join with a code
Section titled “Create a class and let students join with a code”Choose this option if you want students to create their own student login by using a class invite code.
This works well when students can type their name and choose a password on their own.
Choose this option if you want to create each student login yourself.
This is helpful for younger students because you can choose their passwords and give them their login information.
Tip: If you have many students and they are old enough to follow login instructions, the invite code option is usually faster. If your students are very young, adding them yourself may be easier for your classroom.
