Integration with ClassLink

Connecting Rockalingua with ClassLink makes logging in and managing your student rosters easier for you and your students.

Important: This integration requires your school’s or district’s IT team to have already set up everything on the ClassLink environment (see the IT instructions below).

You can easily bring your classes and students into Rockalingua from ClassLink.

Access Rockalingua via your ClassLink dashboard log in link.

If you can’t find it, talk to your IT department and ask them to fix this issue. Let them know we have instructions for them below.

To synchronize your classes:

  1. Go to your “Classes” page

  2. Click the “Synchronize” button:

    Click the Synchronize button

  3. Select “With ClassLink” and click “Continue”

  4. Follow the instructions on the screen

This action will either perform the initial import of your classes or synchronize any subsequent modifications made on ClassLink since the last synchronization.

Already imported classes are synchronized every night automatically, so you don’t need to do it manually unless you know there has been a change since last night.

  1. Open ClassLink.
  2. Find and click the Rockalingua icon.
Section titled “Instructions for IT administrators: Sharing data and granting permissions on ClassLink”

  1. Add the Rockalingua Application: Grant permissions to Rockalingua by adding the application within your ClassLink environment.

  2. Enable Data Connection Status: Navigate to the permissions settings for Rockalingua and enable the data connection status.

  3. Share Data: Share the necessary user data via REST.

    Recommendation: We strongly recommend limiting the shared data to only include the teachers (and their students) who will be actively using Rockalingua.

Once these steps are complete on your end, please notify us. We will then finalize the setup to ensure the teachers are correctly provisioned in our system and everything is ready for use.
