What is a “Memory, Match, Race” game?

They are usually presented together as a triad of mini-games and are focused on vocabulary repetition. They keep students going over the same concepts again and again, always connecting the pronunciation with the written word and its meaning through illustrations or small animations.

Use them when your students need to solidify their vocabulary. All three of them are good for connecting the written and spoken forms of a concept to its meaning.

Your students flip cards to find and match pairs. Each card shows the text of the concept and an illustration, and they hear the word spoken aloud when they flip a card.

Concepts are shown as illustrations and text, randomly distributed on the screen. Your students drag the text labels onto the matching images.

Your students listen to a concept in speech and see an illustration or animation cross the screen within a limited time. They must choose the correct written concept from a list.

It also has an advanced mode in which they have to wrote the word or concept themselves if they like a challenge.
